Build your first flow
Automate a greeting, a question, or a whole qualifying conversation.
A flow is a small automatic conversation: something happens, then Labeeq does a series of steps. The most useful first flow is a greeting for messages that arrive out of hours.
- 1 Open Flows and create one. Choose what starts it — a new conversation, a keyword, a label being added.
- 2 Drag steps onto the canvas: send a message, ask a question and save the answer, wait, add a label, assign to a team.
- 3 Use Buttons when you want the customer to choose — each button becomes its own path.
- 4 Publish. Flows only run once published, so you can build safely in the open.
Useful steps to know
- Ask a question saves the reply onto the contact, so you can use it later as a variable.
- HTTP request calls your own system mid-conversation — a stock check, an order lookup.
- Add row to Google Sheets logs the conversation into a spreadsheet your team already lives in.
Test a flow by messaging your own number before you publish it to customers.
